Some of my sweetest memories come from reading to our four little boys when the house was finally quiet. Those moments-snuggled up with a book-are priceless.
Our children are my greatest blessings and the inspiration behind my own stories, the kind that share love and life lessons in the simplest ways.
Before becoming a children's book author, I started out as a graphic designer, which soon led me into professional desktop video production. Now, I also serve as an Executive Producer for a global Christian organization, and through mission work, I've been blessed to travel internationally, meet incredible people from different cultures, and share Christ's love with our brothers and sisters around the world.
Beyond storytelling, I'm a lifelong lover of the outdoors. Our family has been backcountry camping for as long as I can remember. It all started with a trip to the Boundary Waters right after I graduated with honors from UW-Madison with a B.A. in Journalism and an emphasis in graphic design.
Since then, we've passed that love for adventure down to our kids-teaching them to appreciate both the grand sights and the little joys, like a simple off-trail meal of granola and jerky (which, by the way, always tastes better outside).
That love for the wilderness, along with countless hiking trips, helped shape "God Hears Hannah's Horrible Hiccups" my latest book in the God Loves, God Knows, God Hears series. I hope you enjoy reading it with your child, grandchild, or a special little one in your life.
